A few years ago, as our children came along, we found it difficult to find snacks, when out and about, that aren’t full of sugar, empty calories, devoid of flavour and that will satisfy young, healthy and active people like us!
So looking for the next step, having worked for many years as a chef, I made it my mission to sell real food that can make you healthy, give service to make you happy and enrich the lives of others in a fun way!
Then something else happened – I discovered (like many chefs) that I had become diabetic. Since being diagnosed, I have researched and created my own healthy, low sugar lifestyle which enables me to manage my blood sugar levels without the need for drugs.I’m proud of the Jackson Bar, my first product; we hand make them so they have less sugar, no wheat and more essential fats, all from natural ingredients.
It’s a great-tasting, high energy snack bar – like porridge but without the bowl!
